A designer customers enjoy
Templates, colours, logos, names and numbers on a kit they can turn and zoom. Shorts, socks and a matching goalkeeper kit in the same session.
For teamwear and custom apparel brands
kitlab puts a 3D kit designer on your store. It looks like your brand, runs on Shopify or any website, and turns every design into print-ready files for every player.
Loading the designer…
This is the real designer, running here the way it runs on a client's store. Pick a template, change the colours, add a name and number, then press Done.
What you get
Follow one team's kit from the first idea to the last print file. Every step happens in kitlab, on your store, in your brand.
"I want a kit."
Templates, colours, logos, names and numbers on a kit they can turn and zoom. Shorts, socks and a matching goalkeeper kit in the same session.
Free design mode lets a team draw stripes, shapes and patterns straight onto the kit. Switch it on or off for your store.
Studio and above
A team that wants something nobody has drawn yet asks for a custom design. Your graphic designer makes it in Studio from their own AI and SVG files, then sends it back for the team to see on their 3D kit and order.
"What does everyone think?"
Studio and above
One share link opens a room. Teammates remix the kit, everyone gets one vote, and the captain locks in the winner and orders it.
Tap anywhere on the 3D kit to leave a note right there, like "darker collar?". Replies thread under it, and the note is resolved once it's sorted.
When a team shares a kit, the link opens on your website, or on your kitlab page if you'd rather. Nobody has to sign up to open it.
"Who's in?"
Send the team one link. Players add their own name, number and size from their phones with no account needed, and the order fills itself in.
After you're done, type in the team's names, numbers and sizes. Or skip it for now, and the order comes through flagged as roster needed.
"Take our order."
Paste one theme section into Shopify, or one script tag anywhere else. Kits go into the cart with every choice attached to the order.
Sell straight through your cart, or let teams send a quote request with the design attached. Replies from your admin go straight to the customer.
You also get a kitlab page of your own with your live designer, ready to share before your store is even set up.
"Print it."
Vector print files built on your own templates, one per player with their name, number and size, zipped up for the whole team.
Front and back previews, the logos they uploaded and a 3D kit your team can turn before anything is printed.
Make a reorder link from any order. It opens with last season's kit and players, so the team only changes what's new.
Try the admin
This is the real editor your team gets. Change the colours and wording, and drag any row of controls to another edge, or into the middle. It all stays in your browser, so go ahead and break it.
Loading the admin…
The real editor, full screen. Change the colours, wording and layout, then publish to the designer above.
Nothing is saved. Tap the green dot or go back to return here. How it works
Send us your garment templates and 3D models. We set up your cuts, templates, colour zones and logo spots, and style the designer around your brand.
Fine-tune the look, wording and options in your admin, preview it on desktop, tablet and phone, and publish when it's right.
Add it to your store with one section or script. Orders and quote requests arrive with the design, the previews and the print files.
Studio · the pro editor for your designers
Studio is the editor your own graphic designer works in. They bring in their Illustrator and SVG files, place them on the 3D kit, take charge of every colour and check every panel flat before it prints. Your customers' teams get the Design Room too.
kitlab for Illustrator opens any garment's template with its layers named and locked. It checks the file as they work, and one click on Send to kitlab puts the design on the 3D kit.
Drop in an AI or SVG file and every part finds its place: colours, patterns, logo spots and outlines connect to the right controls on their own. No renaming layers and no code.
Pick out any colour in the artwork and change it, move and scale the artwork on the kit, and lock what customers can't touch. More control than the customer designer, for the people who know the brand.
Lay the kit out flat, front, back and every panel, to check seams, sizes and placements the way the print room will see them.
The best-paying jobs are the ones nobody has drawn yet. A team asks for something new, your designer makes it in Illustrator, it lands on their kit in 3D, and they approve it from a proof link or pin a comment right where they want a change. No emailed PDFs, no guessing how it will look once it's sewn, and the order comes in like any other.

FAQ
No. Shopify is the quickest, with a ready-made theme section and add to cart built in. Any other website can embed the designer with one script tag, and use quote requests to take orders.
Yes. We set up your garments from your own SVG templates and 3D models, up to the number of garments your plan includes, so print files come out on your own artboards. With Studio, your own designer can bring in new artwork from Illustrator or SVG whenever you like.
The customer's choices on the order, front and back previews, the logos they uploaded and a vector print file for every player, with their name, number and size.
The designer runs in its own frame from our servers and only loads on the page you put it on, so the rest of your store is untouched.
Orders never stop. We let you know as you get close, and you move up when it suits you. Garments are capped per plan, so adding more than your plan holds means moving up a tier.
Any time. You can make most changes yourself in the admin and publish them in a click. We handle bigger changes for you, and with Studio your designer can put new artwork on the kit themselves.
